LEED Silver Certified

The Council Bluffs facility is a LEED Silver certified facility that was commissioned in October 2012. In 2013, the plant was recognized as the Sustainable Plant of the Year by Food Engineering magazine for its sustainable design and automated processes. The plant was built with five primary objectives: team member welfare and safety, food safety, predictable product quality, environmental responsibility and energy savings.
