First Responder BBQ

Pilgrim’s Lufkin facility hosted its 1st Annual Thank a Hero, First Responder BBQ on Dec 6, 2018. Along with drinks donated by Pepsi of Lufkin, team members served hot dogs and hamburgers to the Central Fire Department, Hudson Fire Department, Huntington Fire Department, Lufkin Police Department, Angelina County Sherriff’s Department, Department of Public Safety and Angelina County Game Wardens. The event had a great turnout, and the team received a thank you letter from Angelina County Sheriff Greg Sanches. All the leftover food from the barbeque was donated to the area’s local hospitals.
