Large Employer of the Year Award

In May 2018, JBS Australia Bordertown was nominated as a top three finalist for the South Australia Training Awards’ Large Employer of the Year Award out of 40 total category entries. Hosted by the Training and Skills Commission, the South Australia Training Awards are the state’s peak accolades for vocational education and training, recognizing quality, excellence and innovation in training. The Large Employer of the Year Award is granted to a large enterprise that has achieved excellence in the provision of nationally recognized training to its team members. Although JBS Australia Bordertown did not end up taking first place at the ceremony, being nominated for the award itself was a significant accomplishment to the team and a credit to the dedication and ownership of all involved at the facility.
