Cattle Truck Drivers Required to be BQAT Certified

The Beef Checkoff-funded BQA program launched new training and a certification program for cattle transportation, BQAT, which provides cattle haulers with comprehensive training. In the past, all drivers who hauled cattle were trained according to the Master Cattle Transporter; however, JBS USA senior leadership felt that the BQAT program was more relevant and required all drivers to complete the new training and certification. All newly hired drivers who haul cattle for JBS USA Carriers are required to complete the training and certification as part of orientation.
